World Seniors Snooker

When Hull secured the rights to host the UK Seniors Snooker Championship, the challenge wasn't just filling seats for the tournament, but setting it up for multiple years ahead.

We built the campaign to mimic Sheffield’s role as a snooker city, putting Hull on the map as a potential host for snooker for years to come. The standout piece was a street activation using giant chalk blocks, in Hull City Centre. They covered security bollards and featured information on the tournament and how to buy tickets. We also purchased circular bhoys in the colour of snooker balls and set them up in water. 

The campaigns turned something you'd normally only see on a baize table into a piece of public art, which people stopped and photographed. 

They were a huge success, got people talking, increased ticket sales and garnered more media coverage. Thinking outside the box, we brought the marketing to life by creating something memorable,
